The funeral and the wake will be held on Thursday 29th January. Bruce was well known in the Harpenden area, in rugby, cricket, business and light opera circles and was also a President and Life member of Saracens. Owing to capacity constraints, the family is regrettably obliged to restrict the numbers attending the funeral and to some extent, the wake but are inviting as many friends as possible. 

Bruce loved big cats, especially tigers and was very keen to learn of conservation work carried out by charities. The family has therefore decided that any donations in his memory would be for the benefit of the Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent.
