Commercial Retail Space Renovation

Harpenden, Hertfordshire

Claridge & Hall undertook the conversion of an old carpentry workshop building into a modern retail space for Chelford Fabrics of Harpenden.

Project Facts

The dilapidated industrial space required complete renovation. The existing 400m2 cold floor was insulated with solid insulation and levelled with screed to allow new carpets to be fitted.

Claridge & Hall undertook all interior decoration and created interior partitioning and mezzanine offices and redistributed metal framed fire break walls. We also changed 3 Phase electrics to single phase and redistributed electrics.

The project was completed within 12 weeks.

I am writing to thank you for all the hard work that you and the team put in to our bandroom project. I am pleased to say that the building and parking is now all finished and ready for use.

The band is delighted with the result. We have a new purpose-built music facility right in the heart of town. As you know, the facilities include a large rehearsal room, two small teaching rooms, a kitchen, a library room, WCs and plenty of storage. The band has a new home that will last for generations to come.

Thank you again for all your efforts. We can all be very proud of what has been achieved.
